Harvard Business School Association of Hong Kong

The HBSA-HK Educational Trust was established in 2000 in honour of the late Andy Choa, an active member of HBSAHK.

Since inception, the Trust has funded a number of scholarships for senior executives from non-profit organizations in Hong Kong to attend the "Strategic Perspectives in Non Profit Management" executive education programme at HBS. Since 2001, 35 scholarships have been awarded to date. Awardees include leaders from Community Chest Hong Kong, Hospital Authority of Hong Kong, Mother's Choice, Ltd., Po Leung Kuk, Social Ventures Hong Kong, and HK Paralympic Committee & Sports Association for the Physically Disabled, etc.

By training and empowering those who manage social and charitable organizations, and by making them more effective and efficient in the delivery of their services, it is intended that these scholarships have a multiple and leveraged impact on the well-being of the most needy in Hong Kong.

HBSAHK is exploring new initiatives to broaden the activities supported by the HBSA-HK Educational Trust, and would welcome input from all alumni. Please contact philanthropy@hbsahk.org to find out more or to make a donation to the Trust.
