We are privileged that Mr. Ken Lee has agreed to have a chat with HBSAHK members. Mr. Lee is a frequent speaker in forums and conferences. Recently he has been engaged by various institutions to present the following topic to their management committees and town halls, Nan Fung Group being one of them.

Disruptive technologies (including FinTech) has been a big investment theme as we all know. But what many people do not realize is that — when these disruptive technologies coincide with the arrival of the Millennials generation (defined as people born in 1980-1999), this combination is lethal to traditional business models. Needless to say, the investment implications are widely under-appreciated. Why are the Millennials so important and influential? How are they different from other generations? The presentation flows in 3 sessions: 1) Highlights of disruptive technologies & FinTech, 2) Millennials - why they are the most influential generation ever, and 3) Actionable ideas for traditional businesses and investors.
