Panel 1: Outlook of Hong Kong & China in 2018

The key themes for the panel of the macro view of outlook of Hong Kong and China in 2018 would be focused on the opportunities brought by Belt and Road Initiative, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Bay Area (Bay Area) and expansion of the channels for two-way flow of cross-border RMB funds, and the risks and obstacles faced by Hong Kong, while in China, growth is projected to remain strong but risks continue to build up. How can we seize the opportunities and manage the risks?

Panel 2: Fireside Chat with Huawei Chairwoman

Founded in 1987, Huawei, a leading global information and communications technology (ICT) solutions provider, has grown from a USD 5,680 small company to a global company with a sales volume of over USD 39 billion with business presence in over 170 countries serving over one-third of the world's population. Ms. Sun joined Huawei in 1989, and served as management roles in different departments. Since 1999, Ms. Sun has served as the Chairwoman of the Board.  Ms. Sun will share with us that the world is progressing faster to be a better connected one and it is difficult to imagine the depth and breadth of the changes to come. She will also show us the innovation of the ICT and how value-driven collaboration and innovation are giving rise to diverse business ecosystems.
